FAQ

---The Farm---

Nature Plus Farms is in Jaipur, Rajasthan, close to a small town.
Of course. A walk of the farm would be great, thank you very much. But you must make an appointment ahead of time. We don't let our friends leave our town without a party.
The grounds of Nature Plus Farms cover 25 acres and were built to meet world standards. The dairy farm is the best in the world, and they use cutting edge tools and technology to make sure the cows are comfy and happy. For example, they have climate controllers, massage brushes, cleaning tools, and good food and water.
Indian farms don't come much more high-tech than Nature Plus Farms. Nature Plus Farms is a fully integrated dairy farm with its own farmland for fodder, modern barns, fully automated milking parlour, chilling units, pasteurisation units, packing line, cold stores and our own cold-chain delivery vans and bikes for home delivery. To put it another way, we have everything we need to grow goodness. We are a high-tech, self-sufficient organic farm that will last.

---The Milk---

Nature Plus Farms does not buy milk from other farms; we make our own milk. As milk farmers, we are in charge of every single step that goes into making good, healthy milk. Every little thing is carefully thought out: we choose the healthiest breed of cows, give them the right mix of organic feed, check on their health and comfort on a regular basis, make sure milking is done cleanly, keep the sheds and barns up to the highest standards and make sure you can safely get the milk from our farm to your home.
There are no poisons in the feed we give the cows; they only eat organic feed that is grown on the farm. Steroids or medicines are not given to our cows. The whole process of milking and packing is done by machines, which makes it completely clean. Our cows are happy. They can move around, chill out in the sun, or sleep in their cosy sheds.Even better, try a glass of our milk to see why it's the best and tastiest milk out there.
We only have Whole Cow's Milk right now. The amount of fat in this milk is between 3.5% and 4%. Whole cow's milk, on the other hand, is lighter than the normal milk you can buy, which is mostly Buffalo's milk. When the milk is boiled, about 40% of the fat can be taken out in the form of cream-layer or Malai. We will soon have milk varieties with less fat.
Whole milk is milk that hasn't had any of its parts taken away or changed. In this type of milk, the fat level has not been set to a certain level through extra processing. Whole milk is milk that comes straight from the cow and has all of its healthy nutrients. It's milk the way cows made it. That's why Nature Plus Farms Milk is Whole Cow's Milk.
Normal brand milk is mostly made from buffalo milk, so full fat milk from a cow can't be compared to it. Also, cream or fat is added to regular brands in different amounts based on percentages to make different kinds. Most full cream brands have 6% fat in them. Whole milk from a cow can't have more than 4% fat because that's how cows naturally make milk, which is low in fat and easy to digest. That's why a lot of people know that fat from cows is GOOD FAT.
Because of the powder in the milk, milk from the store has a certain amount of Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP) mixed in. This makes the curd very thick and creamy, like chakka. Since Nature Plus Farms Milk comes straight from the cow, it is 100% farm fresh. As a result, it has natural Solids Not Fat (SNF) levels that are lower than those in other milk brands.
When you use Nature Plus Farms Milk to make curd, it's not at all like using other types. First bring the milk to a full boil. Then, let it cool down a bit until it's the right temperature to add the culture. Take a cloth and put the vessel under it or put it in a vessel with insulation to keep the temperature stable. The process of setting the curd will take a little longer than normal. After it has set, you should put it in the fridge to make sure it sets properly.
In this process, the milk is heated to a certain temperature for a set amount of time. This kills any dangerous bacteria in the milk while keeping its nutritional value. In this way, the milk is safe to drink right from the bottle.
It is, yes. It lowers the number of pathogens that can live and cause sickness or kills them. Pasteurised milk is chosen all over the world, and health benefits have been proven by science. For the safety of the customer, the pasteurisation process was made.
Carotenoids are mostly to blame for milk's yellow colour. When it comes to breeds, some have a lot of it, while others don't have much. So, the milk's yellow colour can depend on the breed, the food, and other things. If there is less yellow tint, there is no need to worry. It's because the cows are fed fresh, local food. The malai (cream) layer on top is slightly yellow after the milk has been boiled and then put in the fridge.
Yes, we have been approved by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has also given them a licence.
Periodically, we send you sample test results from FSSAI-approved labs to give you peace of mind about the quality of the milk. Subscribers can visit the farm at any time, as long as they make an appointment ahead of time, to see how things work.
The milk from Nature Plus Farms is fresh from the farm. The milk is not changed in any way by us. Branded packaged milk is standardised and homogenised to make sure that the milk is all the same. However, these steps change the milk from its original state. The weather, the yearly feed our cows ate, and their lactation cycle would all affect the thickness and taste of our milk.

---The Cows---

We are breeding Dutch Holstein-Friesian and Gir cows right now.
There is no way that we will allow the use of Oxytocin or any other hormones.
There is no milk from any cows that are on antibiotics. As a result, the milk has no antibiotics at all.
Every day, our cows eat a set meal. They get high-quality maize, alfalfa, greens, soy and bran from us so that we can feed them a healthy, happy diet. Our doctors make sure that the minerals and vitamins are in the right amounts. They make a plan based on the cows' ages and what they need physically. As you might have guessed, the menu changes often to include new, seasonal foods and specials that will keep the cows happy and full all day. This is what we call a "Total Meal Ration," and it's meant to keep every cow in great health. The end result is rich, healthy milk that is natural and full of all the good things that cow's milk has to offer.

---Milk Processing, Packaging and Logistics---

After the cows are milked, the milk is quickly chilled to 4 degrees, then it is pasteurised and put into containers. After the milk is packed, it is sent out to be delivered to people's homes.
At Nature Plus Farms, we take pride in using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles for our milk products. Not only are these bottles considered the safest containers for storing milk by the World Health Organization, but they also offer numerous environmental benefits. By choosing HDPE bottles, we're able to reduce our carbon footprint and help protect the planet for future generations. And, as part of our commitment to sustainability, we ensure that all of our used bottles are properly recycled to minimize waste and promote a healthier environment.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we reuse the glass bottles whenever possible. To help us achieve this goal, we kindly ask that you rinse and return the empty bottle on your next delivery. This small action can make a big difference in reducing waste and promoting a healthier environment.
Milking is done by tools that do everything for you. After being milked, the milk is quickly cooled to 4 degrees Celsius using PHE. It is then pasteurised, put into tamper-proof bottles, and sent to our local cold store chains, where our team delivers it to each customer.
Refrigerated vans move Nature Plus Farms milk from the plant to the station. Each and every station has places to keep food cool. The milk is then brought to your door in boxes that keep it at the right temperature.
